Weaving Sampler Workshop with Lea Weaver

Beginner level project-oriented workshop.  All materials included.  Bring a snack and come prepared to have fun.

Experience and learn weaving in this afternoon workshop.  Gain experience, understanding and appreciation for this ancient craft and take home two small, finished projects: 1. a belt or strap or bookmarks created on an inkle loon, and 2. a miniature rug or coaster created on a multi0harness floor loom.  We will introduce several types of weaving from around the world including basket weaving, floor loon weaving, belt weaving, backstrap weaving, Navajo and tapestry weaving.
