These photographs were donated to the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area by Paul Allen. Dating from the mid 1940’s, these photographs are of Western North Carolina destinations such as Mount Mitchell State Park, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Also included are several shots from Virginia and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee.
