Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands: Fall Edition

In its 75th year, the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands returns to downtown Asheville’s Harrah’s Cherokee Center. Filling both the concourse and arena levels of the venue, makers exhibit a variety of craft ranging from contemporary to traditional in works of clay, wood, metal, glass, fiber, natural materials, paper, leather, mixed media, and jewelry. 2022 Harvest Festival

On the third weekend of every October this event begins with a free Friday evening campfire to roast marshmallows, and storytelling. Hot dogs, hot cocoa and soft drinks for sale. Beaverdam Studio Tour

October 29 - October 30

The annual Beaverdam Studio Tour takes place the last weekend in October. The tour features work by over 25 artists whose studios are located on or near Beaverdam Road in North Asheville as well as guest artists. Artists and craftspeople working in clay, jewelry, metals, painting, photography and textiles are included. This year, the Tour hours are 10-5 on Saturday, October 29 and 10-4 on Sunday, October 30. Christmas Craft Market
