Naturally Dyed Bandannas

Participants will experiment with basic tie-dye and shibori techniques to fold, roll, bind, or manipulate lightweight organic cotton bandannas. Multiple natural dye pots will be available, for different color options. The tied/bound bandannas will simmer for an hour, while we discuss some of the principles and basics of naturally dyeing fabric at home. Participants will leave with 2 dyed bandannas, which they can wash and wear for years to come!
Please Note: Participants should wear comfortable, casual clothing. There is a possibility of dye transfer onto clothing while working, so clothing that can get dirty/stained would be most appropriate. All supplies will be provided.
