Creation Class: Naturally Dyed Bandannas

Class Objectives:  In this workshop, participants will experience the magic of natural dyes, creating two one-of-a-kind dyed bandannas.

Class Description: Participants will experiment with basic tie-dye and shibori techniques to fold, roll, bind, or manipulate lightweight organic cotton bandannas. Multiple natural dye pots will be available, for different color options. The tied/bound bandannas will simmer for an hour, while we discuss some of the principles and basics of naturally dyeing fabric at home. Participants will leave with 2 dyed bandannas, which they can wash and wear for years to come!
