Woodlands Gallery
Add to Trip

Margo Lea established Woodlands Gallery in historic downtown Hendersonville with a commitment to offer regionally made, high-quality, nature-inspired art. When you enter the gallery, your eyes catch glimpses of exceptional pottery, natural landscapes, unique wooden sculptures and furniture, metal jewelry, and other handcrafted pieces.

Although the gallery is set inside a 1905 building which once served as a bank – complete with a vault, it’s as though you’ve entered a well-curated home of a private collector. Vignettes have been cleverly arranged to show how an artist’s work could be featured in a home. The gallery boasts a variety of talented artists, crafters and creators.

For Margo, local art and craftsmanship should be an integral part of our daily lives. She says supporting the local economy and families that reside in the area feels great and is essential to the future of Western North Carolina.

The gallery is open daily 11am – 5pm.
