Tunnel Mountain Crafts
Add to Trip

Tunnel Mountain Crafts is located along the railroad tracks in Dillsboro. This shop offers the works of over 60 artisans, including owner, Connie Hogan. Originally from New York, Connie became interested in opening the shop when she grew weary of the craft show circuit. Today, she has a wheel in the back of the shop so she can demonstrate to visitors her methods of crafting pottery. Every item in the shops is handmade by a local artist.

Visitors to Tunnel Mountain Crafts can find a wide range of work including woodwork, oil painting, watercolors, acrylics, pottery, iron work, painted gourds, fabric items, crocheted and knitted scarves, greeting cards, postcards, and children’s books. Tunnel Mountain Crafts also offers the work of eight potters as well as sterling silver, copper, and beaded jewelry. The network of artists supplying work allows for frequently changing inventory and displays.
