A vibrant art scene in a landscape of natural beauty

Located  30 minutes from Asheville, Henderson County is a prime destination in Western North Carolina and home to DuPont State Park and Pisgah National Forest. Along with natural beauty, Henderson County boasts a vibrant art scene.

The Arts Council of Henderson County has been serving the community for over 40 years by promoting local and regional artists, understanding the cultural value of community programs and providing those opportunities.  

In addition to outreach programs to youth, teachers and artists of tomorrow, the Arts Council hosts and supports many  exhibitions and events throughout the year. These include Art on Main, Fine Arts Festival, a rotating Performance Arts series, Artists in School, and Mentors & Students presented at Blue Ridge Community College.
