Michele Sparks always dreamed of owning her own art gallery. She especially wanted to focus on helping local artists find success. Now, she runs Art MoB Studios and Marketplace, known as the oldest and largest art gallery with working studios in historic downtown Hendersonville. Michele’s vision of giving local artisans a creative and fun venue to showcase their many talents came true.
Bustling with five studios filled with artists creating their work, and 4,000 square feet full of fine art and fine craft, Art MoB represents over 85 North Carolina artists. Many different mediums can be found including jewelry, pottery, basketry, metal, wood and more.
“Each day brings a different experience to our visitors while they stroll through the working studios, watching and engaging with our artists,” Michelle explains. Plus, Art MoB offers a special event each month to promote their current artists.
