Join instructor Andrew Lee for a full-day immersive experience where you’ll learn to transform raw bark into a functional, hand-crafted basket — inspired by timeless Appalachian techniques.

What you’ll do:

Learn how bark is sustainably removed and prepped

Create one basket from raw bark to drying stage

Assemble and embellish a second, fully dried poplar bark basket to take home

Leave with a finished piece and the knowledge to make more

All materials provided — just wear closed-toe shoes and bring your curiosity!
