Charity Ray Art Exhibit

We are thrilled to have an exhibit and sale of Charity Ray’s remaining original artworks, as well as a selection of prints. March 25 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Mars Landing Galleries, located adjacent to the Mars Hill Library.
We’ve been working with the gallery for a few months to make this show happen, and it will be a great opportunity to not only introduce Charity’s work to some new viewers, but also provide a proper gallery setting for her paintings where friends and fans can celebrate her.
If there are any collectors who might wish to loan their original Charity Ray pieces to this exhibit, to make it even more robust and representative of Charity’s legacy. Any on-loan works will be indicated as NFS (not for sale). This is a one-day event, though works for sale may remain in the gallery for up to a month.
Proceeds from sales of Charity’s originals and prints are to be divided equally between Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Mars Hill Anderson Rosenwald School, who in turn will donate funds to a scholarship in Charity’s name, established at Mars Hill University.
