October 14, 2022 - October 15, 2022

On the third weekend of every October this event begins with a free Friday evening campfire to roast marshmallows, and storytelling. Hot dogs, hot cocoa and soft drinks for sale.

The Festival gets underway Saturday at 11 am and closes at 5 pm. Saturday admission is just $5/adult and free for kids K-12 and younger; parking is free.

Enjoy music and dancing on the outdoor stage. Local artists offer their handmade crafts and foods for sale, and demonstrations of corn-grinding, blacksmithing and butter churning add to the excitement.

The Country Fair features competitions and exhibits of jams, jellies, pies, cakes, quilts, needlework, pumpkins, photography, mountain crafts and native crafts and much more. Youth and adult divisions. Rules and Regulations for County Fair Entries (pdf).

There’s even a Quilt Exhibit, where entrants might win a $100 Viewer’s Choice award. To submit a quilt this year, download the entry form. Entries must be postmarked by October 10.
