Add to Trip

Wood Berry Gallery in downtown Saluda seeks to provide a peaceful, well-curated space where visitors feel welcome to experience the immense talent of crafters and artists in Western North Carolina. The gallery’s mission is to serve as a bridge connecting people and communities through art. Featuring around 30 artists mostly from the Carolinas, Wood Berry Gallery focuses on work that is contemporary in nature and more decorative and sculptural than functional.

Much of the work on display could be described as bold. The gallery’s clean and simple colors and displays allow work with bright colors, intricate designs, and thought-provoking forms to bask in the spotlight. Wood Berry’s portfolio of artists stands out with playful and daring energy. The breadth of work will appeal to anyone from seasoned craft connoisseurs to children just discovering the magnetism of fine craft.

Visitors to Wood Berry Gallery can enjoy and browse creative work including decorative ceramics, jewelry, wood, painting, sculpture, and more. Featured artists are promoted with openings and prominent displays. Pop up shows give exposure to new artists and regular events allow the community to further connect.
