The Weaverville Art Safari is a free, two-day, juried, studio tour event that takes place each April and November. This event is widely recognized both for the quality of work on display and is one of the longest-running studio tour events in Western North Carolina. This vibrant event is interwoven into the fabric of the Weaverville community and draws a local crowd as well as visitors from the region and beyond. Each spring and fall the safari leads art and craft enthusiasts through the beautiful Weaverville area to meet local artists and see the spaces where they work and live.

Visitors looking to explore Weaverville Art Safari can enjoy a wealth of art and craft as well as breathtaking mountain scenery. Tours usually feature more than 50 participating artists who create pieces in diverse media including ceramics, glass, photography, sculpture, jewelry, furniture, painting, metal, drawing, fiber art, mixed media, wood art, and more.
