Saluda Moon Glass Studio & Gallery
Add to Trip

At Saluda Moon Glass Studio and Gallery in downtown Saluda, visitors and community members can tap into their own creative veins. The space accommodates a gallery as well as a teaching studio where Susan Cannon has offered a wide range of classes in kiln-formed glass since June 2022. After working in several other craft mediums, Cannon found herself exploring glass and being impressed with its versatility, luminous nature, and technical challenge. Cannon has seventeen years of teaching experience and has studied with many internationally recognized glass artists.

Visitors and students can draw inspiration from the 1,800 square foot gallery and studio with ample parking in the heart of Saluda. Visitors and students may also view Susan’s own designs of functional glass, garden art, jewelry, and wall art for purchase as well as works from a number of additional artists. Each month more than fifty students attend introductory workshops, garden art, jewelry, mosaics, and other advanced classes. Students may also rent studio time to complete their own projects with the help of Susan’s direction.
