NC Mountain Made
Add to Trip

NC Mountain Made started offering local, handmade craft in 2005. When the original space become too small, owner Linda McKay moved the business to Main Street in Franklin. Today, after fifteen years in business, NC Mountain Made offers the work of more than 75 craft artists who live and create in the mountains of North Carolina. The winding threads for the work that finds its way into the gallery are local connection and quality.

Visitors to NC Mountain Made will find two floors of unique craft to enjoy. The selection is wide-ranging in size, style, and medium. Find items including handcrafted jewelry, hand-painted signs, hand-poured soy candles, hand-turned wooden bowls, pottery, and blown glass. Hand-sewn, hand-knitted, and crocheted items are also featured. On the lower floor, visitors can also find a wide variety of antiques and collectibles.

Hours: Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday 9 am-5 pm
