Add to Trip

Momentum Gallery occupies two floors of a century-old building in downtown Asheville. The 15,000 square foot, renovated facility houses a state-of-the-art gallery with design features including a stainless-steel Ripple wall sculpture from Hoss Haley, along with murals by Casey Roberts and Samantha Bates. The diverse collections at Momentum—accentuated by glass, metal, and wood—feature prominently in the gallery’s modern architecture. As part of its commitment to conservation, Momentum helps combat climate change by powering its space entirely with solar energy.

The owners and staff at Momentum are ready to engage and inform visitors about any of the work they show. Momentum works closely with individuals and design professionals to develop meaningful collections and select signature pieces that energize spaces and evoke a sense of happiness and well-being. Momentum offers comprehensive art-based services including personalized curatorial assistance. The gallery is committed to the highest level of client care.

Visitors to Momentum Gallery will enjoy innovative sculpture, museum-quality paintings, original prints, and studio furniture by prominent artists from this region and beyond. The gallery’s program celebrates the rich material-based traditions in Western North Carolina and reflects a contemporary and modern aesthetic in harmony with its natural surroundings. Unique objects in glass, metal, textile, wood, and ceramic are thoughtfully presented throughout an expansive space.
