Brasstown Carvers Collectors Show and Tell

As part of its 100th Anniversary celebration, the John C. Campbell Folk School invites the public to a special Brasstown Carver Collectors Show and Tell on Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Folk School Olive Dame Campbell Dining Hall.
This unique event offers a rare opportunity to experience the rich legacy of the Brasstown Carvers up close. Featuring curated personal collections, attendees can engage in one-on-one and small group conversations with collectors and carvers, gaining insight into the craftsmanship, stories, and enduring cultural significance of each piece.
A short video about the Brasstown Carvers will be shown in the lobby, and guests can purchase the newly updated Brasstown Carver booklet, in the Craft Shop. While no items will be for sale during the event, visitors are invited to deepen their appreciation for this vital Appalachian art form and support its future. A select number of carvings are available for sale in the Craft Shop, located below the ODC Dining Hall.
Admission is free and open to the public.
