What can an outdoor consignment store and a National Heritage Area have in common?
A love for their region, including the outdoors and music!
Second Gear in Asheville, North Carolina, donated 1% of its August sales to the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area. Each month, the store chooses a nonprofit to donate a portion of its sales. This is the second year Second Gear has chosen to partner with us, and we are delighted! After August, BRNHA received over $1,500.
Additionally, on August 17th, musicians representing the Blue Ridge Music Trails dropped by the shop to perform. Laura Boosinger and the members of New Found Gap provided shoppers with some fine picking and strumming.
