Folkmoot: Mootenanny

Folkmoot’s outdoor folkways gathering is a barbeque picnic that features nationally touring Americana musicians, Plott Hound and Appalachian lifestyle displays and presentations, southern storytellers, crafts vendors sharing Appalachian cultural practices. Tickets for adults are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, students under 12 years are $5 and kids under 5 years are free. Family prices are available upon request.
Musical Performers include: Amanda Anne Platt and the Honeycutters; Jim Avett; Joey Fortner & the Universal Sound; and Ol’ Dirty Bathtub.
Enjoy a beef and pork barbeque meal for $10/person. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available upon request.
