Appalachian Folk Festival

This free event celebrates the traditions and cultures of the people who call the North Carolina mountains home. Programs and demonstrations will feature old-time music, local craftsmen, and artists. Observe cooking demonstrations in the historic Vance hearth or a local blacksmith as he uses his anvil to shape metal. You can spend the day in the Reems Creek Valley with delicious barbecue for purchase from Mountain View BBQ & Deli and free crafts for kids!
