Lucy Clark Gallery
Add to Trip

Lucy Clark Gallery in downtown Brevard showcases a wide range of work all curated to be in conversation with itself and with those who visit. Lucy Clark’s own work takes many forms, but is perhaps most distinct in her hand-built, earthenware ceramic pieces. Much of her pottery has a distinct black color that comes from being burnished and then fired in sawdust. On any given day, customers may be able to see Lucy working on her hand-built ceramics, jewelry, or photography.

Lucy Clark Gallery occupies a former jewelry store, including the vault, which provides quite a unique display case! The gallery began as a studio space with four artists morphed into an art gallery/working studio. Most work displayed is from local and regional artists and fits into Lucy’s overall “vision of softness.”

The gallery offers painting, ceramics, found object sculptures, polymer clay jewelry, Shibori scarves, mixed media jewelry, photography, and drawing. Intimate workshops are offered in a number of media including drawing, painting, fiber, mixed media, and silk dyeing.
