Earlier this month, Axe & Awl Leatherworks issued a press release announcing property acquisition to grow their workshop and retail spaces. Spencer Tetrault originally began the business at home. Eventually, he and his wife, Stephanie, opened a shop and workspace on Depot Street in Waynesville, NC. Axe & Awl joined the Blue Ridge Craft Trail in 2022, and they have become a successful creative manufacturer in our region.
