Brevard Music Center

Founded in 1936, the Brevard Music Center is one of the oldest and finest summer music institutions in the country. Every summer, hundreds of young musicians from all over the world come to study and play side by side with professional musicians in the presentation of public concerts, staged operas, and musicals.

The Brevard Music Center offers instruction in chamber music, piano, instrumental studies,composition, and voice.

The campus encompasses more than 145 buildings which are spread over 180 mountainside acres. The main concert hall, Whittington-Pfohl Auditorium, seats 1,800, with additional lawn seating available on either side of the hall. The Auditorium features state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment.

Hours of Operation

The concert season runs from late June through early August.

Admission Fees

Ticket prices vary by performance and seating. Some recitals are free.
