Supporting Our Creative Community After Hurricane Helene

Western North Carolina is still recovering from the impact of Hurricane Helene. To help our region’s vibrant arts and music scene bounce back, the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area (BRNHA) is partnering with the North Carolina Arts Foundation and the NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund to offer financial assistance to artists and professional musicians/performers across the region.

Are you eligible?

  • You are an artist or professional musician/performer residing in Western North Carolina.
  • You have not previously received a grant from ArtsAVL.

How can this help?

These funds can help you:

  • Help replace lost equipment
  • Cover unexpected expenses related to the storm’s impact
  • Support your continued artistic practice

Ready to apply?

Please complete this application form by March 15, 2025. We will review applications on a rolling basis throughout February and March, with awards being made as quickly as possible. Award is $500.
