World Wide Knit In Public Day

Join Local Cloth on the sidewalks in and around Asheville’s River Arts District to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public (WWKIP) Day on June 14 from 10am to 4pm. Festivities include sitting knitters throughout the River Arts District, an opportunity for yarn bombing, and a make-and-take drop-in to learn how to make knitted cotton washcloths. No knitting experience is needed to participate in WWKIP Day. Admission to the event is free, just pay for the materials you use.
