Winter Lights at the North Carolina Arboretum
November 19, 2021 - January 1, 2022
Tickets to Winter Lights at the North Carolina Arboretum go on sale online Friday, October 1 through the Arboretum’s website, and the popular holiday display has a lot to offer this year.
For 2021, Winter Lights is returning to a walk-through experience, with one million lights shining throughout the Arboretum’s gardens from November 19 through January 1. Guests can explore and enjoy vibrant displays, hear live music and enjoy hot cocoa from the Cocoa Shack while surrounded by the festive lights and sounds of the holidays.
Winter Lights is the Arboretum’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and the show has become a must-see holiday tradition in Western North Carolina. This year’s theme is “Forest Whimsy,” and promises new surprises alongside the popular 50-foor Tree of Light, the Magical Maples and Storytime at Woodland Cove.
This year, tickets will be sold per vehicle, and three tiers of admission price based on peak and off-peak days give guests the ability to choose their pricing option. Tickets per personal vehicle (up to 20’ feet long) will be $30 (Bronze), $45 (Silver) and $60 (Gold) when purchased online in advance. Admission will also be available at the gate for $10 more on the night of the event. Ticket information can be found at ncwinterlights.com.
