Storytelling Workshop and Performance featuring Connie Regan-Blake

June 21

$30 – $35
Connie Regan-Blake Storytelling Workshop & Performance

Storytelling is easier than you think!  This workshop welcomes all – teachers, parents, librarians, ministers, storytellers, and those just curious. Connie generously shares tools she has developed and learned throughout her trailblazing storytelling career that spans 5 decades and 6 continents.

With partner exercises and a ‘walk through memories’, you will enjoy exploring events of your life in a supportive, creative atmosphere. Utilizing ‘deep listening’, you will also experience how the 5 senses and the ‘colors’ of the moment bring a story to life and connect you with your listeners. Whether telling to family on the front porch, a gathering at a party or on a stage, you’ll get a taste of ‘art & heart’ of storytelling.

So join us if you are drawn to stories – both the telling and the listening.

4PM:  Workshop:  Storytelling: Tales and Techniques (Included in ticket price)

Followed by a ‘meet & greet’ with the Artist

7PM Evening Performance

Ticket includes: Workshop (optional) and the 7 o’clock performance

BAC Members $30 • Non-Members $35

About Connie Regan-Blake:

Connie Regan-Blake is one of America’s most celebrated story-tellers. She has captivated the hearts and imaginations of people around the globe with her powerful performances and workshops.

Entertaining audiences in 47 states, 18 countries, and 6 continents, she brings the wisdom, humor, and drama of stories to main stage concert halls, libraries, and into the corporate world.

When Connie takes the stage she generates a brightness and warmth, drawing in listeners with her engaging humor and Southern charm. Her stories range from hilarious traditional Appalachian Mountain tales to poignant true-life drama.  A consummate professional, Connie’s rare talent can transform a convention hall into a wondrous landscape and turn a packed theater into an intimate circle of friends.
