The Shelton House Museum of NC Handicrafts will host several Holiday Events this December. The month-long Tinsel Trail which will remain open to the public through January 1, 2022. This event is a Community Events and free to the public, though donations for the preservation of the Shelton House History, Heritage, and Crafts is greatly appreciated.
The Appalachian Christmas will be a festive opening for the Tinsel Trail with the long sidewalk and front of the Shelton House lined with beautifully lit, trees decorated by local Haywood County businesses, organizations, and churches! The Shelton House Gift Shop, filled with local arts and crafts, will be open that evening for your Holiday Shopping and, Hot Chocolate and goodies can be enjoyed by all. Visit with Santa then take your hot chocolate and settle on the front lawn to listen to the beautiful Holiday sounds to put you in the Christmas Spirit!

5pm-5:30pm & 6pm-6:30pm – Celtic Holiday Tunes by Bean Sidhe (pronounced Banshee).
5:30pm-6pm – Voices in the Laurel, a youth choir directed by Martha Brown singing Holiday favorites.
6:30pm-7pm The Song Spinners, an Accapella Women’s Group caroling for all to enjoy!
