Quilt Trails Haywood County WalkingTour

As the headquarters for the Quilt Trails of WNC, the Haywood County Arts Council is the perfect place to begin exploring the colorful quilt blocks that brighten Main Street Waynesville.

New this year, we’re offering a guided Quilt Trails Walking Tour through our charming downtown on April 18th at 10 am. This easy, 45-minute tour takes place entirely along Main Street, making it a relaxed and accessible walk for most participants. The tour begins and ends at the Haywood Handmade Gallery, located in the heart of downtown. Tickets are $10 for the walking tour.

Stroll along Main Street as you discover the stories behind the quilt blocks displayed on local buildings, learn about the history of the Quilt Trails program, and hear fascinating bits of Waynesville’s local history along the way.
