In October, the Mazie Jones Gallery at the Jones House will host a Macramé Showcase, featuring the collective work of Traci Goodard (Nefarious Knots), Disa Herring (Designs by Disa), and Kali Mullins (Gold Dust Creative). These three Watauga County artists and entrepreneurs bring a modern Appalachian flair to the vintage art of macramé, creating a wide variety of handmade crafts, including wall hangings, wearables, accessories, and more. Stop by the Jones House for the opening reception on Friday, October 3 from 5-7pm to view the exhibit, meet the artists, and enjoy free refreshments.
