Fall Forest: Needle Felting Workshop with Jaana Mattson

In this single session we will work on a needle-felted forest, building the rich greens of deep woods to offset bright autumn color and distinctive birch trees in the foreground.  With all the right colors in your roving kit we will build the scene one step at a time, working through the layers from dense foliage to individual leaves.   

• All tools and materials will be explained as we work, and all necessary supplies are provided.
• You will leave the workshop with your finished piece and supplies for more at home. 
•  A $30 materials fee is due in class to cover your kit, which includes a collection of dyed wool roving, felting needles, acrylic felt pinned to a foam block and printed materials outlining tools, fibers and resources.
