On November 23rd at 5 PM, head to the Center for Pioneer Life for a Community Corn Shucking event. 🎶 Enjoy live music, learn about the rich history of corn shucking, and connect with your community. We will have pulled pork, baked beans and hushpuppies made by Johnny Hughes! Plates are just $5! 🍽️ 

Historically, corn shuckings were vital community events where neighbors would gather to help each other with the labor-intensive task of shucking corn. These gatherings often became lively social events, filled with music, storytelling, and celebration—a tradition we’re bringing back for a night of fellowship and fun! 🙌
