Beginning/Intermediate Copper & Textured Bronze Workshop with Joe Cooper
January 21, 2022 - January 22, 2022
This workshop is for beginners or intermediate students who have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Students will learn basic skills while using copper sheet, copper tubing, and copper wire with a torch welding method to make art and craft objects. Specifically each student will make at least one candleholder or wine coaster using the illustrated technique.
Students should bring safety glasses, leather utility gloves, and hearing protection (if desired).
Friday, January 21: 1:00-5:00 pm
Saturday, January 22: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
$145 members / $175 non-members
Materials fee – $20 payable to the instructor at the time of the workshop
