Ashe County Studio Tour

Here’s the picture: the sweep of mountains as a backdrop, a tiny valley with a charming lane enticing you to follow it around a turn…the roadways of Ashe County are great for daytripping! And what better destination can you envision than visiting the artists whose studios are part of the Ashe County Studio Tour.

There are art studios located all over the county: in and around West Jefferson, Jefferson, Crumpler, Laurel Springs, Todd, Creston, Warrensville, and Lansing. Most studios are not usually open to the public, so this is a rare opportunity to see where art really happens. At some locations, the artists will actually be at work, so people can watch art created. These Ashe County artists have shown their work regionally, nationally, and internationally.

This event is free and open to the public. Stop by the Ashe Arts Center to pick up a map and hit the road!
