America 250 Celebration Kick-Off

Celebrate America 250 with McDowell County at the Historic Carson House.

A proclamation will be made at 10 am to kick off this celebration.
Tour the Carson House and Moore Cabin.
Watch living history demonstrations by the Overmountain Victory Trail Association, D.A.R., S.A.R., and C.A.R.
Stay for performances by special guest storytellers.
Plus–music, craft vendors, food trucks, contests, & games.
