
Located in the Pisgah National Forest near Brevard, the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education offers unique indoor and outdoor exhibits on the state’s wildlife and mountain habitats.
The Center’s gift shop, the N.C. Wild Store, retails items that are wildlife-oriented including books, apparel, posters, toys, gifts, art, and educational materials.
Hours of Operation
Open Monday – Saturday, 8 am – 4:45 pm.
Closed on Easter weekend and other state holidays except for Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

The Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education is located off U.S. Hwy 276 near Brevard, NC.
Approach Pisgah Forest from Asheville via Hwy 280 (Airport Exit off I-26) or from the south at Exit 18B onto Hwy 64 West. At the intersection of Hwy 280, 64, and 276, follow 276N approximately 5.5 miles (just after bridge). There will be a fork in the road and a sign for the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education. Bear to the left onto Forest Service road 475. Drive approximately 1.5 miles and turn left at the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education.
