DESCRIPTION:Join Mount Mitchell Rangers at the Burnsville Fire Department! \nWhile Mount Mitchell State Park is still closed\, the rangers want to provide free\, fun educational opportunities for children and adults.\nPlease join us from 12-3 pm on July 25th\, August 8th\, and August 15th at the Burnsville Fire Department for hands-on learning activities. Join us anytime from 12-3 pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring snacks and water as these will not be provided. We hope to see you there. \nSkins and Skulls: 7/25\, 12-3 pm \nLearn about animals that live in our mountains\, where they make their homes\, and what their tracks look like. \nSensational Soil: 8/8\, 12-3 pm\nSoil is a dynamic and vital part of our environment that helps plants survive and grow\, keeps water clean\, and supports many other living things.
