SUMMARY:Cherokee County Historical Museum Ribbon Cutting
DESCRIPTION:The Cherokee County Historical Museum has officially expanded and fully restored its home inside the historic Carnegie Library building in downtown Murphy. It is something you do not want to miss. \nThis newly completed expansion brings the entire building back together\, creating a unified space dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Cherokee County. From Native American heritage and Trail of Tears interpretation to Appalachian artifacts and early settler life\, the museum continues to serve as a meaningful connection to our region’s past. \nJoin us as we celebrate this exciting milestone. We will be hosting a ribbon cutting at 2:00 PM during the Open House on Friday\, May 1st from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
