Announcing the First Issue of the Blue Ridge Craft Trails Magazine

Blue Ridge Craft Trails Magazine 2024It’s here! It’s here! The Blue Ridge Craft Trails Magazine: A Guide to WNC Craft Artists was published in January 2025. We partnered with our friends at Smoky Mountain News (SMN) to create a magazine highlighting craft throughout Western North Carolina. Over 300 artists and galleries are listed to guide visitors and craft admirers along the Blue Ridge Craft Trails. Several stories hone in on people, areas, and events from each region of WNC–Far West, Central Mountains, High Country, and Foothills.

SMN was an integral partner throughout this magazine’s journey. From concept development to a final printed object, the team helped breathe life into this collection of stories and information.

We’re also grateful for the support from our advertisers. Despite some setbacks due to a natural disaster, the businesses, artists, and galleries continued to stay invested in the project.

Printed Blue Ridge Craft Trails Magazine copies can be found at local visitor centers, galleries, and museums. You can also request a copy by contacting Cindy Blankenship at Cindy@BlueRidgeHeritage.com.
