Gather 'Round the Blue Ridge

The annual meeting of the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area

10:00 am to 1:30 pm (registration starts at 9:30 am)
At the historic YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC

Come gather 'round and celebrate successes over the last year and learn about new directions for the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area.  We'll provide lunch, craft demonstrations, music, and opportunities for networking.

Keynote speaker: Michelle McCollum, the Executive Director of the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor, one of the most creative and successful Heritage Areas in the country.

State of the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area report: Penn Dameron, BRNHA

Local presentations from the John C. Campbell Folk School, Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project, and Yadkin River Heritage Corridor Partnership

Featured craft artists: Ed Goings, Margaret A. Woody, Leniavell Trivette, and Jerry Read Smith
