Four talented craft demonstrators intrigued guests at Gather 'Round the Blue Ridge with their skills in creating furniture, textiles and baskets, and unique native plant medicinals and foods.

Ila Hatter, wildcrafter, explained her skills in using native plants to create medicines and foods. 

Ila and husband, Jerry.

 Eileen Hallman both spun and wove her thread into lovely fabrics.

Ramona Lossie demonstrated the ancient Cherokee art of basket making.

Master chairmaker Max Woody set up a lathe and worked on a chair throughout the day.
